Like to take this opportunity to introduce you to your moderators I would.

First though, little bit about the yoda account:

The primary control account for how the site looks and functions, the Yoda account is. Handed off from one person to another should it be necessary, the yoda account is specifically designed so it can be, because "Change in ownership" can become necessary. Never be used as a disciplinary account, the Yoda account will be, but instead used as an account to announce board changes that affect everyone, it will.

So, without further ado... Your moderators! Yeesssssss.

I'd like to introduce myself (for any that don't know me already). I'm Richard, and as my name would suggest I'm in Tennessee. I post both from work and from home and am USUALLY (but not exclusively) on-line in the evenings and mornings.

My moderating style is to be as "hands-off" as possible, and as "hands-off" as members will let me be by adhering to the few rules we have. Basically the rules are set up so that people that know how to act like grown adults should have no problem following them. And people that want to act childish will soon find themselves in the cross-hairs of a Moderator.

If I am posting under my "personal account" then I am just like any other member... I like a good spirited debate, and will happily discuss pretty much any topic with anyone.

As a Moderator I also have an "official" account. That account is listed as "Mediator", If I am posting under that account, it's in my official capacity as a Moderator, and my comments or actions are NOT up for debate (there is however an option for other Moderators to review my call, and overturn them if they were not in keeping with the rules of the board). Personally I hope to never have to even use that account.

If you need to ask me a question, or see something that you think I should know about or deal with, please feel free to Private Message THIS account (RichardInTN), and I'll see what needs seeing to! (If you PM it to Mediator, no telling how long it will sit unnoticed).

Greetings fellow Escapees! I am Demonia, one of your friendly, local mods! You will find me mainly on throughout the week days, and sporadically in the evenings and weekends.

As you've probably noticed, there aren't a lot of rules here. We are all adults here, and as such, I do expect people to act like adults. Those that cannot manage to act like adults will likely become quite acquainted with Themis.

For those of you that don't already know, Themis is my moderator account. When an infraction happens, Themis will step and handle it. I assure you that while posting in an official capacity, Themis will strive to be fair and just. I ask that should the need to use said account arise, the decisions made be respected.

That said, if you have any questions, suggestions, thoughts, or need some assistance in anyway, you are welcome to PM me at either account. I will warn you the Themis account is currently only checked once or twice a week. The Demonia account is checked daily.

I look forward to seeing you all around the board!

Hello Escapees. I am Fleurminatrix.

I also prefer a hand's off approach to moderating.

I would like to ask that our members conduct themselves as they would if they were conversing face to face. If you would not say something to someone's face, you probably shouldn't type it.

My moderator account is Ebenezer. I would prefer not to have to sign in to that account but I will if I need to.

Hey y’all, I’m tarynwithat and I am the newest Mod. My Moderator Account is Ghost Rider.

I Escape a lot these days, both daytime and evening. You can generally reach me via PM and I’ll respond within an hour or three. I think an important mandate is to be able to act immediately should a problem arise. Posts should not linger over days, waiting for a moderator to take action while a disruptive discussion drags on, both on the board and behind the scenes. So please feel free to contact me at my tarynwithat account for quickest response, and I will attempt to reply as soon as possible.

My intent is to model my Mod style after Fleur’s: Calm, cool, and collected; wise and impartial, and able to remove emotion from the equation. My role model, in general, is Dalton, the cooler Patrick Swayze played in Roadhouse. I will be NICE. I will be nice until it's time to not be nice.

And, at that time, expect what you would expect from Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Justice.
